HCPEA Young Leaders Council

The HCPEA Young Leaders Council (HCPEA YL) is a diverse group of individuals whose mission is to offer fresh perspectives and insights on the resources needed for rising investment professionals to succeed in their healthcare private equity careers.


Elizabeth Colonna
Vice President, Health Enterprise Partners

Elizabeth is a Vice President at Health Enterprise Partners (HEP), a lower middle market growth equity firm that invests in healthcare services and HCIT companies. She is currently on the board of directors of MD Alliance and serves as a board observer of Wildflower Health, AxiaMed, and Access Physicians. 

Prior to joining HEP, Elizabeth was a Senior Consultant at FTI Consulting. As a member of FTI’s Health Solutions practice, she provided data analytics, litigation support, and other consulting services for a variety of healthcare clients, including large commercial payers, retail pharmacy chains, and healthcare data management companies. During her time in business school, she was a hospital administration and operations intern at UCLA Health.

Elizabeth holds a BA with Distinction from the University of Virginia and received Dean’s Honors with Distinction from Columbia Business School.

Carl Culicchia 
Principal, SV Health Investors

Carl is a Principal at SV Health Investors where he focuses on growth equity investments in the healthcare services and digital health arenas. He sourced and led investments in Evidation Health and Centauri Health Solutions and is a Board Observer for both companies. Additionally, Carl is on the board of SUN Behavioral Health, Spectrum Professional Services, Health Essentials, Aligned Telehealth and Centauri Health Solutions.

Prior to joining SV, Carl focused on growth-stage investments in healthcare technology and services, software, and tech-enabled services at Symmetric Capital, a Boston-based growth equity firm.  He also helped to launch Premier Aesthetics, a specialty care MSO based in the Northeast.

He received a BA in American Studies from Middlebury College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Michael Greenman
Partner, Harvest Partners

Michael Greenman joined Harvest in 2012. Prior to joining Harvest, he was an Associate at Endeavour Capital, where he focused on leveraged buyout transactions. Previously, Mike was an Analyst at Jefferies & Co. in the Financial Sponsors and Leveraged Finance groups, where he executed transactions for the firm’s private equity clients. He serves on the boards of Advanced Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, Dental Care Alliance, and EyeCare Services Partners.

Mike earned a BS in Finance and a BA in Economics and International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.


Ann Hickey
Vice President, WCAS

Ms. Hickey is a Vice President, having joined WCAS in 2019. Prior to joining WCAS, Ms. Hickey worked at Town Hall Ventures, Archimedes Health Investors and Castlight Health (NYSE: CSLT) where she focused on investments in the healthcare sector. Earlier in her career she worked at Oak Hill Capital and Audax.

Ann earned a BS from Duke University.


Taylor Holland
Vice President, Arsenal Capital Partners

Taylor Holland is a Vice President of Arsenal Capital Partners where he focuses on developing and executing investment strategies for the healthcare team. He currently serves on the boards of Pharma Value Demonstration and Accumen. Prior to joining Arsenal in 2017, Taylor worked in the healthcare investment banking group at Jefferies LLC. 

Taylor holds a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University.


Lisa Kapp
Vice President, Advent International

Lisa Kapp joined Advent in 2021 and focuses on investments in the healthcare sector. Prior to Advent, Lisa worked at Cressey & Company, a healthcare-focused private equity fund, and at the global private equity firm Apax Partners, where she was a member of the healthcare team. Lisa began her career in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs.

Lisa has a BSc in Economics and an MBA in Healthcare Management, both from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.


Natasha Latif
Vice President, The Vistria Group
Natasha Latif is a Vice President at The Vistria Group and focuses exclusively on Vistria’s investments in the healthcare sector. Natasha has worked on Vistria’s investments in AIS HealthCare, Civitas Solutions, Rock Dental and Supplemental Health Care.

Prior to joining Vistria, Natasha was a Senior Associate at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe. Prior to WCAS, Natasha was an Associate at Brookstone Partners. Natasha has also held positions in investment banking at Citigroup and Finance at PepsiCo.

Natasha received a B.A. in Economics from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Pavithra Mahesh
Principal, Apax Partners 

Pavithra Mahesh is a Principal in the Healthcare team. She joined Apax Partners in 2018 and is currently based in New York. She serves on the board of Kepro. 

Prior to joining Apax Partners, Pavithra was a member of Goldman Sachs’ Principal Investing Area, where she focused on buyouts and growth equity investments in healthcare services and IT. She previously worked in Goldman Sachs’ healthcare investment banking team.

Pavithra holds a BA in Behavioral Economics, magna cum laude, from Duke University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Eric Moore
Principal, DW Healthcare Partners

Eric is currently a Principal at DWHP, a healthcare focused private equity firm. Prior to rejoining DWHP in 2015, Eric worked in operations at sPower – a high-growth energy company. Before sPower, Eric was an associate at DWHP and began his career in investment banking at Nomura.

Eric graduated with a BS from the University of Denver.

David Poss
Vice President, Beecken Petty O'Keefe & Company

David is a Vice President at BPOC. Prior to joining Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Company in 2017, David was a Senior Associate at PNC Riverarch Capital where he was responsible for the evaluation and execution of private equity transactions. He began his career as an Analyst at Croft & Bender, a middle market investment bank focused on M&A and capital raising services.

David received a B.S. in Economics, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania

Irem Rami
Vice President, Summit Partners

Irem is a Vice President at Summit Partners where she focuses on growth equity investments in the healthcare sector. Prior to joining Summit, Irem led investments across value-based care and pharma IT & services for McKesson Ventures. She was also previously part of the founding team for two companies in the employer cost containment and senior care coordination sectors.  Earlier in her career, Irem worked at Madison Dearborn Partners and Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Global Healthcare Investment Banking Group.

Irem received a BS in Biomedical Engineering and Economics, magna cum laude, from Duke University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
